A self-proclaimed food alchemist, Rachel studied integrative nutrition and herbal medicine at Goddard College in Plainfield, VT where she received her BA in Health Arts and Sciences and created a cookbook as part of her final thesis.  She has studied with numerous clinical and folk herbalists around the country, including formal training at the North American Institute for Medical Herbalism In Boulder, CO.  A self-taught and well-seasoned cook, Rachel has been concocting recipes and executing community-style meals for almost 10 years.  Rachel’s affinity for flavor, combined with her knowledge of nutrition and plants, makes her a specialist on nourishing cuisine.
